			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Congratulations to the team of runners from South Coast Nursing Homes who all completed the Barns Green Half Marathon Race on Sunday 1st November.</p>
<p>The weather of drenching rain with gale force winds did not hold anyone back and despite come home a bit soggy and muddy the entire team did superbly.</p>
<p>The team was made up the following runners who finished the race in this order; Chris Colville, John Blackburn, Rosy Colville, Kate Blackburn, Fran Dangerfield, Philip Goldsmith, Jenny Kramer, Ray Arnold and finally Caroline Dooley.</p>
<p>The runners are still collecting donations and sponsors but the figure raised so far for the Alzheimer’s Society is over £2,500. Final figure will be announced and presented to the Alzheimer’s Society in due course.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><!--A group of staff members including some Board Directors are running the Barns Green half Marathon this November to raise money for The Alzheimers Society.</p>
<p>The race is 13 miles and everyone is in training to ensure they all finish and raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause which affects many of our residents across our group of care homes.--></p>
